Walking into the restaurant, located under street level in one of the winding medieval alleys of Stockholm's Old Town, first time guests often gasped by the sight of the warm, red interiors. Stylt’s design was to mirror the chefs’ ambition to combine the comforting flavours of the French cuisine with Italian simplicity. It’s all about personality, tradition, and warmth, as well as the finest ingredients, classic flavours and personal interpretations.

In terms of design, Le Rouge is reminiscent of a French restaurant from the turn of the 19th century: a lively, warm, luxurious setting à la Moulin Rouge, with vibrant colours, heavy textiles, and plenty of details. The restaurant’s 140 seats are divided between dining room, bar, lounge and a chambre separée.
